Passions

People – I do enjoy people watching. ☺️  I am very interested in why people behave the way they do. I am certainly passionate about my three children and supporting them to try and be the best humans they can be .

Travel – I love visiting South East Asia and feel very passionate about being is Santorini for my 50th in 2 years. I am starting to manifest that dream now.

Work – Working with people to maximise their independence and living a life worth living for them.

It is important to celebrate the small steps that people make.

Mentoring others is definitely a passion of mine. I like to support others to develop their skills in the industry and get a lot of enjoyment seeing others grow and develop.

What others admire about me

Sitting in the lounge room watching Parramatta play I asked this question to my son and partner. They had the following to say

  • Hard working
  • Loving
  • Loyal
  • Enquiring mind

What is important to me

Working with people to have equal opportunity to make the most their lives and talents.

To reflect on my practice and be open to continues improvement.

What others need to know to support me

Feedback and good conversations with other staff members motivate me. I like to get excited about the work I do, but also have a good understanding that the work we do, can be challenging and complex. We should not work alone when working with vulnerable people and I really value the opinion and experience of other staff members. So I may reach out for a chat instead of a text or email.

I can be an ideas women but may look to others to help me follow through.
Humour is important to me and I do enjoy a good laugh.

I really enjoy working in a team environment a d like seeing my peers achieve.
