Experience

I have been working In the mental health and disability sector as a support worker for 4 and half years and a support coordinator for the past 2 years.

Before this I ran a small business operating school canteens and a catering company for 10 years.

Running a small business, I learnt to train staff, interact with clients, meet deadlines and deliver quality services.

Working in school canteens serving healthy hearty meals to children put a smile on my face and I think this is where my love for helping the community was born.

Support coordination is not only my job but my passion because I love what I do and helping others wherever I can.

Passions

I love my family and value anytime we can get away on a trip in our caravan.

Heading away to different destinations we haven’t visited yet excites me most in my time off.

I absolutely love showing my kids how beautiful our country is.

What others admire about me

I would like to think that others admire me for my willingness to lend a helping hand and help anyone who is needed.

What is important to me

My family and health is the most important thing to me. I am very family orientated and come from a big family so spending as much time with them as I can is what I love.

What others need to know to support me

I like to be very organised and punctual.

If we have a meeting or a call scheduled I like these to be on time as much as possible, because if it doesn’t I feel like it can throw out my schedule for what’s planned in front of me.
