A dedicated and compassionate professional with extensive experience in social services, including roles as an Administration Coordinator within the Indigenous Community, Support Worker, and House Coordinator in SIL Accommodation. Holding a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), I am committed to providing high-quality, person-centred support, particularly to individuals with complex needs.
I have been actively involved in supporting clients facing homelessness, assisting them in securing temporary accommodation and permanent housing. Additionally, I have assisted in transitioning clients from Mental Health Units (MHU) and the prison system into the community, ensuring they receive the support necessary for successful reintegration.
I pride myself on my ability to connect with clients of all ages and ethnic backgrounds, recognising the diversity within the community and tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. I have a passion for supporting my clients to move forward in a positive direction, whether it be through small steps or larger strides.
I believe that every challenge is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in my clients lives.
I bring to my work not only professional experience but also life experience, which has shaped who I am today. My son is my greatest love and priority, and I cherish the time spent with friends, sharing laughter and creating memories. I believe that music is soothing for the soul, and it has the power to get you through almost anything.
In 2024, I travelled solo for the first time to Fiji, an experience that was life-changing and truly amazing. I plan to return in June 2025, with hopes of continuing to expand my horizons. My life dream is to one day be in a position to make a difference in a community overseas, working with those less fortunate than ourselves.
I use my empathy and understanding to build strong connections with my clients, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and supported. I believe in maintaining a positive, “never give up” attitude, always striving to overcome challenges and achieve the best outcomes.
Currently focused on gaining a comprehensive understanding of the NDIS system in full detail, I am dedicated to expanding my expertise to provide the best possible support. I take pride in building meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues, consistently going above and beyond to ensure access to the best services tailored to each individual’s needs.
I believe that standing up for what you believe in or what you think is right is important. To me it shows who you are as person. I believe that you should always be true to yourself & honesty is the best policy.
I like to double check, even triple check. Sometimes taking in a lot of information can be overwhelming & we can put pressure on ourselves to understand as much as possible. Patience & understanding is the key.
