Grow Your Impact. Lead with Heart.

At Inclusion Tree, we don’t just provide services; we nurture human potential. We are a national NDIS provider committed to human-centred, trauma-informed, and strengths-focused support. Our secret to growth? Investing deeply in our people. Now, we’re looking for a dedicated Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner ready to step into a leadership role that blends hands-on practice with the chance to shape our future.

This is a unique career pathway role, designed for a practitioner who excels in delivering high-quality behaviour support and feels called to lift up those around them. You’ll start with a manageable billable caseload (~28 hours/week), with a clear trajectory toward greater leadership. Imagine your role evolving, from expert practitioner to mentor, and potentially toward a Clinical Director pathway. This is where your clinical excellence meets your leadership ambition.

Your Role: Where Clinical Excellence Meets Inspiring Leadership

You will be the heartbeat of a team of passionate Behaviour Practitioners. Your mission is twofold:

  1. Deliver exceptional, advanced behaviour support to a dedicated caseload.
  2. Lead, mentor, and grow a team, embedding a culture of quality, reflection, and continuous learning.

You will lead by example, focusing on:

  • Building Capability: Providing clinical supervision and mentorship to practitioners, fostering their professional growth.
  • Championing Quality: Ensuring all practices exceed NDIS Commission standards and reflect our innovative, integrity-driven approach.
  • Driving Culture: Being a torchbearer for Inclusion Tree’s We-Flow principles, nurturing a supportive, collaborative, and whole-hearted team environment.
  • Advancing Practice: Contributing to the strategic growth of our Behaviour Support service, maintaining our reputation for excellence.

You will maintain a rewarding clinical practice, including:

  • Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and developing impactful Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Lodging plans with the NDIS Commission and advocating for the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices.
  • Uplifting the quality of life for participants by training and supporting them, their families, and support staff.

Essential Criteria:

  • A relevant Degree in Behaviour Support, Psychology, Social Work, Allied Health, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner, including complex assessments and plan development.
  • Deep knowledge of the NDIS, Behaviour Support Practice Standards, and relevant legislation.
  • Demonstrated leadership, whether formal or informal, in mentoring, supervision, or team development.
  • A genuine passion for building a strong, cohesive, and capable team.
  • Outstanding communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • A heartfelt commitment to Inclusion Tree’s values and a We-Flow culture of growth and learning.

Why Choose Inclusion Tree?

  • A Clear Career Pathway: We are explicitly investing in your future. Your billable hours will reduce over time as your leadership responsibilities grow.
  • Intentional Culture: We live by our We-Flow principles, creating an environment where your personal and professional development is prioritised.
  • Purpose-Driven Work: Your expertise will directly enhance lives while shaping the next generation of practitioners.
  • National Impact, Local Flexibility: Enjoy the autonomy of community-based and work-from-home arrangements as part of a respected national organisation.

Inclusion Tree is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We select staff based on merit and are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. We warmly encourage applicants from all backgrounds and abilities to apply.
