Experience

With over 15 years of experience in client-focused roles, I have a deep and genuine commitment to disability services and community support. At The Benevolent Society, I started as a Client Support Partner – Support Coordinator, where I had the privilege of managing over 80 clients. My role involved more than just connecting people to services; it was about understanding their unique needs and ensuring their NDIS plans were tailored to help them live fulfilling lives. I also worked in the Child and Family Preservation program, providing support to vulnerable families and making a meaningful impact during challenging times. At Brighter Access, I managed 65 clients and 50 employees, where I learned the value of compassion and teamwork. My experience at BEST Employment Ltd. involved not just matching job seekers with employers but also offering hope and guidance to those looking for a fresh start.

Passions

Being outdoors, active, connected to family, and watching our three little ladies thrive through their journey of life. I am deeply passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals. I am driven by the opportunity to help clients achieve their personal goals, and I thrive on building meaningful relationships and creating environments where both clients and team members feel seen, heard, and valued. My enthusiasm for supporting others is at the core of everything I do, pushing me to continually learn and grow so I can better serve those around me.

What others admire about me

Others admire my unwavering dedication, balancing personal and work life, and genuine commitment to caring for clients. I am known for building strong, lasting relationships and for my ability to communicate openly and effectively. I bring a spirit of collaboration and compassion to every team I work with, and I am always ready to go the extra mile to ensure everyone feels supported. My proactive approach, coupled with my heartfelt nature, resonates with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders alike. Additionally, my advocacy for social justice and belief that everyone deserves a meaningful life are qualities that many appreciate and respect.

What is important to me

What matters most to me is creating a balance between my professional and personal life that reflects my core values. As a parent, my children are my top priority. Being a loving, supportive parent and partner is essential to me, and I strive to be a positive role model for my family by embodying resilience, compassion, and integrity. Beyond my family, advocating for social justice is also deeply important to me. I believe in standing up for the rights of others and fostering a world where everyone has the opportunity to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. To maintain my well-being and stay grounded, I incorporate meditation into my daily routine, allowing me to approach both my personal and professional life with clarity and intention.

What others need to know to support me

Family is my top priority, and I appreciate reminders to help me maintain a healthy work-life balance. Please provide me with a reminder to take breaks, as these moments are crucial for maintaining my productivity and overall well-being. Regular breaks help me stay focused and effective in my work.

Open communication is essential for effective collaboration and mutual understanding. I value transparent and honest exchanges of information, as they help ensure clarity and address any issues promptly. Please feel free to share your thoughts and feedback openly, and I will do the same. Should I make a mistake, I prefer constructive feedback that focuses on education rather than criticism. This approach not only supports my professional growth but also fosters a positive and respectful work environment.

At times, I may withdraw when I need to focus deeply on my tasks. This is my way of managing my workload efficiently. Please understand that this temporary withdrawal is not a reflection of my engagement or commitment; rather, it’s a strategy to ensure I complete my work effectively.
